Love my 16 gallon soft step but the recycling side was missing the soft close damper. So, I called the number that was conveniently, yet discreetly, provided underneath the lid. And was sent a replacement damper within a couple days. No questions asked. 👍🏻
Exactly what was needed
Without an air damper the lid will drop quickly after you step off the pedal. The air damper works to slow down the lid so it doesn't drop. However, the air damper that originally came with the product I purchased worked much better and the lid closed more slowly. But, in the end, this item does the job and I really like my iTouchless softstep.
