This replacement cover is awesome but it is not worth $16. 16 cents maybe.
At first had a challenging experiences trying the flap door to work, after reading the instructions all ok, but flap kept not responding well. Until I double check the batteries, even though they were in a unopened package and date had not expired, I tested them and they all 4 were very weak. Now it works! The only thing my kitchen is extremely small and flaps opens when I pass by, then sometimes it doesn’t when I need it open, but that’s because my area is too confined with no other place to put it.
