50 Liter / 13 Gallon Oval Stainless Steel Sensor Kitchen Trash Can with AC Adapter and AbsorbX Odor Filter

My family thought I was crazy when I told them we spent $100 on a garbage can when we moved into a new house. That was 8 years ago (no, not a typo, 8 YEARS AGO) and it was the best decision ever. In those 8 years we've only had to change the batteries TWICE and our can is in a central location that triggers the sensor A LOT when walking past it. The can has held up exceptionally well as it's made very well and is high quality. It's easy to keep clean, is FANTASTIC at keeping all odor inside even without having the odor absorbing packets in (raw chicken scraps and cat food, need I say more?!) and it took 8 years before we had any issues. Our "issue" isn't even that the lid stopped working, its that the lid is now possessed and randomly opens and closes all day. I came to the site ready to purchase a new can as I've more than gotten my money's worth, but I didn't have to. THEY HAVE REPLACEMENT LIDS! I was thrilled to find I don't have to replace the entire can (although I would have in a heartbeat) I never dreamt I'd be leaving a glowing, rave review about a garbage can of all things, but honestly, this product has more than earned one! Best $100 I'VE EVER SPENT! If you're on the fence about getting one, trust me, they're well worth it and you won't be disappointed.
