Sensor Lid Cover for IT18RC and IT23RC

The one we initially received was defective: it would open automatically, but stay open; we had to close it by hand (whether it was on battery or the AC adaptor). I contacted the customer service number, and--after getting some info, they sent us a new trashcan top. We didn't even have to send the defective one back. Very easy to deal with. Since we've gotten the new one, it's worked great. I was worried that it wouldn't be fast enough, but it opens about as quickly as a foot-pedal-style lid. You do have get used to its opening every time you walk by the can, though. The only drawback I can see (compared to the other, smaller models) is that you need a screwdriver to change the odor filters, whereas some other models have easy pop-out buttons.

This is now my third Sensor lid cover. The first worked amazingly for two years, which in my eyes is alright amount of time. Despite purchasing a replacement, it did not work out of the box. However, iTouchless sent me a replacement after a lengthy email exchange. The replacement sensor is now working occasionally, and the open and close buttons are still working sporadically.

Has to replace my lid after about 3 years due to user error. I was concerned that it might not be the same. To my surprise, I popped it on and it went to work as usual I appreciate all of your quality products and especially those replacement parts needed when you're in a pickle. I wish I could afford to buy another as backup, but hopefully I won't need it ~Happy, Loyal Consumer

This trash bin has the space and convenience that I need. It's a nice design and easy to setup.
